Calming Tarot River of Peaceful Clarity.

Accurate and Cozy Insight: I'm Ann Marie, a unique blend of an Iowan, Mom, full-time Psychic Reader, Author, Gardener, Animal Guardian, and wife. This combination of roles shapes my life, wisdom and experience.

My Calling as an Intuitive, Gardener, and Writer

I discovered my first deck of tarot cards in a gift shop when I was nineteen. Something clicked. When I brought home my beautiful cards and began memorizing the 78 individual meanings, I experienced a breakthrough. I could sense life stories hidden within voices; Tarot filled in the details.

**Learning the Language of Tarot**

Tarot communicates with my intuition through its rich artwork and symbols, adding a unique dimension to my readings. Initially, it felt like I was learning to speak a new language.  Soon enough, I spoke the language of Tarot reading fluently. I developed a reputation for accuracy at art fairs, coffee houses, and gift boutiques where I offered psychic readings. In the 1970s, no psychic television shows, or phone advisory lines existed until the late 1990s. In 2001, I quit my job of 22 years to become a full-time spiritual Tarot coach. I love meeting new people.

Training Tip: Each deck of Tarot cards is like a different language. Its owner must practice memorizing the meanings every day to interpret them fluently. Novelists enjoy simply owning them.

My Family of Teachers and Artists

I come from a family of passionate educators. My father, Bill Bissell, was a dedicated history teacher in Des Plaines, Illinois, and one of his notable students was Hillary Clinton. My mother, Dene Hellman, is an enthusiastic scholar, a voracious reader, and the author of six novels. My sister, Patricia, also works as a teacher, and I like to consider myself a Life Teacher. Interestingly, my reading studio was once a teacher's cottage that was built in 1921. Outside my studio you will find half an acre of gardens filled with the soothing sounds of wind chimes, towering sculptures, and many cats.

Artist Genes

Franklin Grew, my grandfather, painted his way across America in 1919, where he met my schoolteacher grandmother, Margaretta. Grandpa smelled like Lava soap, wore khaki work coveralls, and I would stand mesmerized in a room filled with jars of paint brushes, oil paints, walls of guns, and the smell of turpentine paint remover. My Grandmother's walls were covered with Grandpa's oil paintings, some as large as a wall. Granma excelled in making after-nap strawberry sodas! And I will never forget the night the tornado blew their house off its foundation as we hid in the broom closet.

CONCLUSION

Writing Is In My Blood. Psychic Reading is my Calling. Like my grandfather, whose life was center staged between his painting shed and domesticated lifestyle, I work from my Angel Studio, and my husband and I are passionate animal rescuers.
