Winter Lights {don't take them down}

With the return of early winter darkness, white lights bring festivity, joy, and hope to a dark medieval-like world. It is the right of all who are afflicted by cold, icy weather and bare-branched trees to light up their world, not because of a holiday, but because it gives a warm welcome home from work and evening dog walks and adds a cozy winter essence to visitors and passers-by in their cars.

Don't Take Them Down, Be the light
Granted, it feels a little naughty when everyone else tears down their Santa Clauses and plastic reindeer, to be the neighbor still glowing in white lights. But I promise you, when the sad gloom descends on seeing festive town lights go dark, and you are still sparkling with white lights like a living glass snowball, you will be appreciated. Maybe not out loud, and you may even be considered a nonconformist, but SILENTLY, you are being appreciated.
MY GLOWING LANE HUG
I see my presence in my small town in this way. Silently, I am being appreciated for giving a little sparkle to the city. And I admit, due to my reclusive nature, many in this town don't know me, other than the lady with white lights. My glowing lane of sparkling white lights speaks for me, embracing the city with a warm hello, without words.
